Thermal Sighting Tank Complexes «Buran-Matis», «Buran-Catherine»
The complexes are designed for targets observation, detection, identification and aimed firing from the gun and coaxial machine-gun from the gunner’s or commander’s stations under daylight or night visibility conditions, including under adverse weather.
The “Buran-Matis”, “Buran-Catherine”, “Buran-T” tank complexes are used in the fire control systems for the tanks of T-80, T-84 types. The “Buran-T” complex is used in the fire control systems of a T-72 type tanks for their upgrading The complexes can also be used to upgrade the T-72, T-64B, T-55, T-62 tanks.
The sight can be operated with a ballistic computer and a laser rangefinder.
